• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Have a new 2011 RT Audio & covenience.. Would like to install the RT fog lights. Has anyone done this and if so how to do it. Have shop and tools and i am not affraid to do the work. Not sure how to get front trunk off, Was told by dealer that fog light kit has all the wiring. I have a shop manual on the way.
Thanks for any help....

The foglight kit should have specific instructions. Your dealer may be able to print you out a copy ahead of time.

I did this to my AC.
Had to pull the front end off to get to everything. The instructions are very good. Top two bolts holding the Frunk onto the "firewall" (for lack of a better term) were kind of a pain to get to, but if you take your time you should have no problem. Enjoy the work and don't rush it. Having a helper to get the Frunk back into place may be helpful. I used a floorjack and muscles I rarely use to get mine back on. I may have some pics in my "SteveMac Mods" post or in one of my photo albums. But I dont' think I have enough detail to be helpful to you. Just pics showing my "naked Spyder"!

Have Fun!

I have a 2010 RT and last winter I installed these fog lights , they came complete with step by step instructions and was a nice project yo install. I found that any time you take your bike down .use something like ziplock baggies to put your bolts in labeling the area they came from. GOOD LUCK:clap:

If you can't find a helper to give you a hand removing the Frunk...
After removing the bottom two bolts, run your creeper under the frunk and add some cribbing just shy of the bottom. This way when you unhook the top you can sit it on the creeper and roll it back enought to allow you access to the remaining electrical connections.
