• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Installing RIPS kit question..?

I am looking at instructions and trying to match up the connection that I am supposed to disconnect and insert this kit, then run the wire to up behind the console.

I took the side panels off, and traced back the fender tip light to where the suspension meets the wheel/brake assemble. The connector I see is just inside there, several inches towards the body. However, it doesn't look like the wire lead will make it from there to behind the console.

Is this the right connector or is there another further in the guts :p, and I just need to figure out a way to run that wire lead to the positive lead on the turn signal...?

Thanks for any advice :2thumbs:

Sorry-- don't know what the 'rips kit' is ???:dontknow:

The RIPS is to make the Brightside act as turnsignals. If you were planning on getting the TIPS kit you could just tap into the TIPS wiring without running additional wiring. Gotta put the wifes on this weekend.
