There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Installed the Integrated Radio Kit on my ST over the weekend

Recieved my Radio Kit for my ST S last week and took the plunge to install it. Said on the instructions that it would take an hour. Well....lets say I was being really careful and took me the better part of an evening and the next morning. Probably would have been quicker if I could have found my metric wrenches. Any how....installation was relatively simple with the plug and play aspect of the radio module. Hardest thing to do was installing the plug in for the frunk to hook up your IPOD. I was able to get my hand in there without having to remove the trunk. I accidently hooked up the ground to the attenna as the instructions were not clear so AM did not work. But once I figured that out AM worked. Nice to have some music to listen to when on the road.

Good to have tunes as you ride......I had an RS with just ipod in pocket...had to charge ever night....pain in a$$...I love the audio on the ST-L....enjoy

I already had a J&M CB...hard wired in...so we just installed the J&M and ran a wire from cb unit to ipod so music comes thru head set....got rid of the radio antenna and just have CB antenna...to answer your question...I don't think so

Is the ST-L stereo able to be equipped with the CB module?

Im not sure how it would be integrated into the system. Only other mention in the instructions was about the GPS module into the wiring harness that came with the kit....said if you are not installing it to cover the plug with a cover that came with the kit. But there was another plug in to the control unit that would accept another wiring harness into it so that could be where the CB kit goes.

I have a new ST L and can't figure out how to connect a headset. The cable in the frunk is for audio IN so where is the audio OUT ? I want to connect the Bluetooth dongle and pair it to a BT headset. I also plan to put a Satellite radio to the audio in. Thanks Susie

There is no headphones output directly from the Spyder radio. In order to accomplish what you desire you will need to make some mods to the system.

Please give me more info on the radio kit. I can't find the kit on BRP site. Thanks

Not true, you simply add their BT accessory, which includes the BT transmitter and necessary wiring.

ST Radio

I tried to order this through a dealer and they told me it is not compatable with a Ipod unless I buy a communication module to go with it.
My wife wants a radio but not willing to pay $1200 for it.

What size are the speakers that come with that kit?

My wife wants some tunes as she rides, I am going to try a different route than the factory radio setup.

i used a shark system on my rs and it worked just fine, heres a pik of the shark but dint have a oik of it on my rs,units are different prices i paid 85 $ for this one.:chat:

I know you replaced the radio module a long time ago, mine just went bad (same bike 2014 ST Limited). Once replaced have you had any problems since then? I was quoted $800 for the module and concerned how costly it was. Looks like I need it for the GPS to work too.
Thanks in advance.
