Installation of iphone charger on 2012 RS

I have a iphone 5 lightning charger that I had installed on my BMW CLC cruiser and want to install on my 2012 Spyder RS. Any suggestions on how to run the cable from the battery to the handlebars? I have a on/off switch so it is hot or cold for power on my choice. I want to install on battery and bring out of the tupperwear just ahead of the handlebars.

I just did this when I installed HID headlights on my 2012 RS SE5. While I had the speedo cluster out I spliced into a wire there. No problems. I ran the line out to my throttle side and put a ram mount on. When not in use I tuck the charger end in with my other cables to hide and so it does not flop around. Works great.

I ended up with a dual USB charger that plugs into the trickle charge cable I already had on my Spyder and just ran the cable up from below the instruments onto the handlebars. still thinking on how to set the final placement, temporary for now but works great. I unplug the trickle charge cable when not using it so the cable is not hot all the time.

I'll get a picture and send soon.

I have a battery quick disconnect for my Battery Tender and I have a Battery Tender 081-0069-8 Female Cigarette Adaptor for Quick Disconnect
that I use for my 12V air pump and other 12V accessories.
