We have had bad luck with vehicles running into us over the past year. The truck got hit in January 2025, with repair being $11,000. Last week, my wife got hit in our Subaru. Fortunately, our dash cams caught both instances, and we were absolved of any wrongdoing.
As such, I thought that the remaining vehicle, the Spyder should get cameras. I received the Innovv K6 and did the install today. The mounts supplied by Innovv may work well for conventional 2 wheelers, but the Spyder's steep curve from the instrument panel to the headlights presented a problem due to limited range of articulation. Using the factory supplied mount, the front camera was pointed downward. I was hoping for close to level. I see that Innovv has a Go Pro type mount for the K6, which may help achieve close to level.
Anyone have any suggestions, or have used the Go Pro style mount?
I have attached photos of the mount instructions, plus the K6 Go Pro mount
Thanks,
Rick
