• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Initial first checkup done.....

Yesterday we took our Se5 Roadster in for it's first service at Uxbridge Motorsports & Marine. As always Guy and his staff looked after us very well.
We had the Steering recall issue attended to as well as the other two issues, ground wire and parking brake. All in all a great ride to a great dealership!

The steering GPS download was the only official recall. The other two fixes were a service bulletin that they automatically included.

It is always nice, when your dealer treats you great. As you have probably read from some of the post here. That is not always the case.

Teaburd and I have the same dealer, and this dealership is unfailingly polite and attentive to the customers' needs. I am going there tomorrow for the DPS fix and an oil change. It is a three-hour ride for me, but worth it for the peace of mind, knowing I am dealing with people I trust. Uxbridge Motorsports is a BRP Platinum Dealership, and richly deserves to be one IMHO.

Same here . . . . .

No cost for the fixes. All under standard warranty.

. . . . . Except for the "great dealer" part.

I was in today for my 3,000 mile oil change. ( big trip this weekend and lost my crush washers so I could not do it myself )

They did the Steering Recall - I was not having any problems, but it does seem to steer a little differently - faster/easier/more agility.

They had done the Parking Brake Fix at my 600 mile, but re-worked it because it wasn't holding.

They would have done the grounding wire, but didn't have the parts. ?????

No charge for any of those service issues, which all came up when they plugged it into the computer.

This visit was their 2nd chance. The Spyder tech would not talk to me or even acknowledge my existence. They charged me almost double what I paid for the oil I bought a couple of weeks ago. The service desk took nearly 55 minutes to check me out after the work was done - and I was the only customer there.
In at 9:00 out at 12:15.
On the plus side, there the Spyder was not covered with oily hand prints like the last time and from what I can tell, the tech did a good job.

I know others have had much worse experiences, but poor is poor. Teaburd and you other owners who have good dealer and maintenance experiences, feel blessed. And you dealers who do give good service, please keep up the good work and bucking an industry trend ( at least from my experience ), I wish you were here.
