I just read in the paper this morning that the federal appeals court has given the State of Illinois 180 days to come up with a "concealed carry" law. They determined that the state position was unconstitutional.

That is good to hear.

NY state does not issue a concealed carry permit to my knowledge!! The use to, as I have one that was grandfathered in. Maybe NY will have to start issueing a concealed carry again.

They issue our permits without specifying "concealed" vs "open" carry.

I've had one since 1981...

:thumbup: As chief of security here a Gilbert's Resort, people frequently ask if I am armed. I always reply yes. What they don't know is that I am referring to my left and right arm.
