Is there there any information on the owners event in 2016. Or will it be by invitation only. We have not been to an owners event since Durango. The info will be appreciated.:clap:

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The next single owners event will be in 2017 in Valcourt, Quebec. They have not made any announcements on 2016 but I would think that they will do like they did in 2015 and support various regional events.

BRP has a track record of announcing owners events fairly late in the planning cycle. But i agree with Ann - if you look at all the other Spyder events that are planned for the year - six or seven of them are likely to become "owners events" by getting some support from Canada.. Actually that way has a great benefit of allowing vendors in contrast to when BRP actually holds the owners event, then vendors are forbidden
