• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi Martin, as usual, great vid & thanks once again!

Buuut, just a little bit of unsolicited comment that I'd like to think might be constructive & little helpful :opps: As usual, I watched it all; but I reckon you really need to keep them a bit shorter or maybe tighten up your commentary/delivery a bit? I felt that this one went too much over 30 minutes or so, and going that long in this style of delivery is probably going to see at least some viewers switching off, & that risks them not coming back. :dontknow:

Just to expand a little, I generally like your 'informal talk' type commentary style, it makes the vid feel a bit more relaxed & personal; but in this one it sorta dragged & felt as if you were rambling on in a few places?! So maybe if you think you've got a subject for a vid that's going to run longer than about 30 mins, you might be better off to tighten up the delivery to avoid that 'too long' feel? Possibly you could keep it tight by scripting it just a little - not drafting the entire text, but rather just writing down the dot points you want to make in the order you want to make them, & then trying to follow that order so that you keep the whole vid tighter and hopefully don't go too much longer than 30 mins or so, or saaay, 40 minutes max!? I suggest that anything over that really needs to be fairly tight, much more structured, and have a whole lot less of the 'informal talk' that normally works so well for you, or it risks viewers losing focus on whatever it is you're trying to get across and maybe on the whole thing... :dontknow:

Over to you
