• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Improved DPS effort in 2013 RT???

A lady friend in her late 60s rides a 2012 RT Limited. For riding in Florida the Spyder is perfect because most of our roads are straight. Her problem sets in up in the Smokeys. She says that the steering effort required on the switchbacks and twisties causes extreme shoulder fatigue. She ran into someone the other day that claims the 2013 RTs have an improved DPS. Controlling the bike, they claimed, requires far less effort. The BRP website makes no such claims, and I'm fairly certain the improvement would be openly marketed if true. As always, I submit such questions to this forum where the experts reside. What say you folks?

Thanks and God bless America......

The handling of the 2013 RT is definitely better than an older stock RT. Your friend needs to get a BajaRon sway bar, it will help the handling a ton.

Well..!!

not as far as I know..but she might have them check her DPS. They have been known to fail yet not set you into limp mode or through codes. Know some people who drove long time with it not working...also could try upping tire pressure a bit...:dontknow:
