• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ILLINOIS HAS A PROBLEM WITH SYPDER

They would not test me on the spyder, I had to take the test on a 2-wheeler, but that's ok now I can legally ride either one.

I found a DMV office that would test me

Thanks to all the responses. I will eventually take the a motorcycle safety course so I will be able to ride 2 wheelers as well, but for now all of these in the local area are booked till May and June.

I spoke with the DMV in Nashville, IL they have no problem testing me on the Spyder. So tomorrow I'll hookup the trailer and cruise over. It's only an hour away.

Husband and I discussed this issue at length back in 2007 when we ordered the Spyder. CA Motorcycle Safety course provides a 2-wheel cycle for the course, everybody learns with the same type of bike. We were concerned that although CA does not require a bike lic., if we drove through other states, we would have "issues" with the local law. Better to be safe, I took the course and have the "M" class lic. Up until the class, I had only rode dirt bikes, mopeds, etc. So the class was my first experience with street riding and the best $$ I ever spent. I really learned a lot more than just driving the bike.

same problem in connecticut. They will not test you on a spyder. sucks

Ontario is the same. Luckily I had my Motorcycle endorsement before I purchased the Spyder. They are thinking about trike "only" endorsements, but it is not yet in effect. (you never know how long that will take with out Parliment)
