There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There is no recall for the ignition switch or DESS module. By the way they are not the same thing.
There is a Warranty Campaign to replace Ignition switches with a certain series of key codes on 2014 models. Reason the key will get stuck in the switch and render the Spyder inoperable. Do you have key code tag or number. If it has not happened already on your 2014 it likely never will.
There have been a high rate of DESS module failures on 2014 models and BRP will replace with a revised unit.

Recalls only have to do with SAFETY related equipments.
A faulty ignition switch is not a safety item.

My ignition switch was replaced 14-months ago. The service manager at my dealer phoned me to say that there was a service bulletin about potential problems and that they would replace the switch under warranty. By the way, I have not had any DESS problems.

TSBs aren't recalls, and a "potential problem" isn't a "safety" issue...
