• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Time travel is often romanticized, but the reality would be much different. Did you know that widespread use of antiperspirant did not take off until the 1920's? Also it was a hard sell, convincing people that they stink. Imagine what it was like; people did not bathe everyday, they would sweat in heavy wool clothing with no air conditioners. Also, toilet paper has not been in widespread use for very long. So if you meet Ben Franklin, don't shake his hand.

The human body is one of the most offensive in terms of odor among mammals. I once took a class where the professor said that one of the reasons human kind took over the planet is because we smell and taste bad to other predators, particularly to cats. They will only hunt humans if there is no other recourse, and they have a particularly disgusted look on there faces while feeding on us.

In the cities, they threw raw human waste in the streets and it mingled with the horse manure. In London, one of the most advanced cities at the time, the river Thames was more like the river Styx.

So be happy you live now. But it would be funny to read what people 100 years form now will think of us. "How could they live that way back in 2015 with all that stink?"

Einstein said time travel is possible. We just have not figured out how to do it yet.

THEN...the fun will begin.

First, that's why they invented perfume . . . not only so as not to offend others' sense of smell, but to keep a perfumed hanky near your nose to mask the odor from others!

Second, I think cats always look disgusted!

perfume can only do so much. There is a point where it mixes with body odor and makes a sickly smell that is even worse.

I have also heard people powdered there wigs to keep the lice out. But what about the rest of there cloths?

And yes, cats look down on us, they are better than us ~insert cat icon~
