Waited a few days before posting this just to see if my day at Deland Motorsports was productive. Wednesday I took my Spyder to have the idiot lights checked out that kept flashing Brake Failure and Check Engine. After their diagnostic check and sensor reset, since leaving the dealership and a couple hundred miles after the service, I'm pleased to say they have not come back on. Carlo (BRP) actually called me to discuss their repair proceedure and to see if I was having any other issues. I told him the front tires, both depending on which way I turned, would momentarily come up off the ground on a quick sharp left or right u-turn affecting RPM's for a split second. He asked that I keep him appraised of the issue and asked if they had adjusted tire pressure, because I'd told him it had never happened before. At my 600 mile service, I had Deland Motorsports set my front tires at 20 psi and my back tire at 25 and never had an issue until Wednesday. Carlo didn't skirt any problems I'd experienced in the past and said my VSS is the issue and if this continues and the tire pressure hasn't been adjusted by the dealership to let him know. His concern was sincere and Deland Motorsports wanted to charge me $103 for their service proceedure and Carlo said he was having Kurt call and discuss this with them. Carlo impressed me!
A lot of the problems discussed with wandering and suspension, which I experienced at first, I pretty much resolved by filling my fronts to 20 psi and my back at 25. I set front suspension at 4 of 5 and my rear suspension at 65. It really did make a difference in overall handling. I'm going to check to see if the dealership did change psi or rear suspension and see if that might be the cause of my VSS problem now.
Hope this 20, 25, and 4, 65 help others resolve their handling issues. Like I said, it sure helped me with mine. If it isn't helpful to the folks having issues, at least I tried to help!:dontknow:
