• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

[FONT=TimesNewRoman,Bold]I REFUSE TO TIP-TOE THROUGH LIFE ONLY TO ARRIVE SAFELY AT DEATH – JUSTIN WISNIEWSKI

A fellow fallen rider, died in the line of duty as a volunteer firefighter at age 18

SUNDAY, MAY 3, 2009 is the 4th annual ride in his honor. It typically does not attract the thousands of bikes some of the bigger rides in the area do, but it is a great one.

It starts in Southington, CT and goes thru the state. At about the halfway point, as you ride down RT 6 in Terryville, you ride under two ladder trucks with their ladders extended over the road and brandishing Old Glory. (see pics on website) Then the bikes circle at the Firefighter's Training Center, and continue on. Police and firefighters block traffic for the bikers on local roads.

It ends back in Southington with music and food.

I would love to see some of the New England Spyder Ryders there, and wanted to mention this to all to acknowledge a great kid. He was big into volunteering, and the funds raised go to a scholarship for families of firefighters. Remember, when others are running out of the building, they are the ones running in……….
