I can do the first verse from memory, but have to go to the archives for the rest.

Here they are written out:

When I was in the 6th grade our teacher was Miss Schilling and yes her first name was Penny. Though born in the US she was a 1st generation American,her father having fought as a British soldier in WW1. Our school used detention as a form of punishment and if you were detained Miss Schilling didn't let you just sit and do your homework,you had to memorize the next 3 verses of our National Anthem,and then pass it off to her before you could leave. We had an hour and a half to get it done. I can't anymore for years but I could recite the whole thing . Thank you Miss Schilling.

While I'm quite certain that all Americans know all four verses of their National Anthem I feel a little
sorry for the Greek people.....Their National Anthem has.........158 verses!
