• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just called today to get my oil leak fixed again, (the water pump shaft gasket) and on the way back (it was 49 degrees up here, beautiful day for sure) I noticed some black smoke in the exhaust which sucks cause to was pulling great today.

so I listened to the engine and for the last two miles home it felt light on the throttle, my buddy put it in the trailer and it sounded fine (NOT LIKE LAST TIME) but you could smell oil more than usual.

I am hoping that it just needs a valve and cam adjustment and it was not smoking in the garage, the unknown issue is that I got some "we are almost out of gas" gas in AZ and it was popping when I was low on gas which I was not today.

I have to work till 6am get home hook up the trailer and get up at 11am drive to st cloud, dump the spyder and trailer at my main dealership that does NOT have the best wrench in MN anymore and come back to work tonight.

Hi Seth, hope its not a big issue.... finger crossed for you. Finish up the night shift, get some rest for the trailer ride. Let us know how you make out.

Best of luck to you ... Fingers crossed

Engine problems

Seth; Since HH in St. Cloud changed hands I have found the service department less than knowledgeable on :spyder2: Good luck, hopefully it is nothing more than a needed adjustment.

Seth; Sorry, I also have no idea where he settled in. One person said Tousley's but I cannot confirm that. We are in So. Cal. for the winter sorry unable to provide any help.

Do you know what Daves last name is? I could look him up for you on the net. Maybe get lucky and find him. In the meantime :pray::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray: for the return to ryding the way ya like. Good luck be with you.

Not blown, just blew smoke every once in a while, the qrench and i went over it and it idles a little funny at times but it is somethin, valve and cam adjustment is being done

Well, that sounds encouraging. Was wondering about that "almost out of gas" gas as well. I've had run-ins with that stuff in other vehicles in the past. Wishing good things for the death machine bro!

A little smoke once in a while sounds a lot like water in the gas. Was the smoke white? Even SeaFoam or dry gas may not purge all water from the system. You may have to drain the fuel tank, change the fuel filter, flush the system, and clean the injectors...if that is the case.
