• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I lost another Spyder!

Well it happened again. I bought a shiny new 2016 RTS for myself a couple years ago. The wife wanted to learn to drive it and like a dummy I said "Sure!" Well now that she got her license, she took it from me. I got a speedy 2008 GS to play on. All happy again. My daughter moved back in about a year ago, and SHE wanted to learn how to drive the GS. So you know what's coming next! Yep - daughter is taking mine away now. I'm going out tomorrow to take delivery on my THIRD Spyder! Another 2008 GS, since I have so much experience working on them :banghead:! I nice clean red one, with risers and heated grips and brand new car tires. Moving my HMF muffler and my Ultimate seat to it, she can't have those!!! My grandson has the electric Spyder (aka Star Wars car), so can't wait to post pics of three generations on their own Spyders!

A similar thing happened to me. The only way to fix the situation is don't get married and have kids.:clap:

I can relate, but now my wife is very excited as we stopped at Flamingo Motorsports and put a down payment on a new Ryker for her that will be out of the crate and ready for pick up next week! Maybe when I see it sitting quietly in the garage I can sneak out on it too!

:congrats::dontknow: empty garage? :roflblack::roflblack: please include a :spyder2:group photo:doorag::2thumbs:

I simply said the Spyder is OURS, problem solved. Now, motorcycles are another story. She has her two, I have my 4... no chance she's eyeballing mine.

Thats the way that it is.....

Those test rydes will do it. Though the least of the benefits of a manual it is what keeps mine... mine. :clap: Wife can not have all limbs doing different things at the same time....:lecturef_smilie:

I can relate, my wife barely got out of the parking lots learning my F3T before we came home with a Ryker for her. And I can 100% guarantee you will sneak out on it, they are a BLAST!

At the rate you'er going, you'll be able to start a Ryker riders group just within your own home......:2thumbs:
