I have come up with a RT hitch flag holder.

I ride many Patriot Guard Rider missions and seriously hunted for a inexpensive yet practical way to display the 3 X 5 flag. I came up with several options yet cosmetically, they all left something to be desired! Thanks to a fellow forum member, Stunmun, I have came up with a flag holder for the RT hitch. I ask a friend if he could make me one of these plates and he was gracious enough to make the plate pictured. It utilizes the 3/4 inch hitch ball bolt. It extends far enough forward to still use the hitch for my trailer yet run a flag if I chose. It could be a bit longer and a bit wider (to better cosmetically accommodate the flag holder) but it is made from stock he had sitting arround. I ordered the RIVCO add on flag holder socket, PF920. It has a 1/2 inch bolt from the bottom. There is a slight downward bend toward the front of the plate to help minimize the existing 15 degree angle of the RIVCO item. I am not going into any business whatsoever but if my friend could utilize existing steel stock & he is willing to, I could ask him if he is willing to make more. He may very well say no! I imagine he would have to get about $15.00 each plus actual shipping to make and send them out. If you are interested, please PM me and I could let you know if he says yes. Remember, I am NOT turning this into a business & he may say no.

Thanks for your service - I'm a Guard member too, but don't get to go to many of the Calls, due to other demands on my time. The times I've been, no one admits to have ever seen another Spyder?? Are we that bad??

I have (always) a small flag on my Spyder, but have no ability to mount a larger flag (no hitch, nor desire to have one) - and my V-Rod is worse. At least my Valk has a flag, like the Spyder..

I gave up on mounting 3x5 flags on my RSS, I just stick with the little flags made in Jew Jersey. I tie wrap them to the Passanger handles and turn signals.
If anyone knows how to mount bigger ones I would love to know how.

I would be interested for more the 15. Could they be shiped in a UPS box. if it fits it ships, might to be costly otherwise.This soulds a lot better then my set up. I ride a lot of PGR missions

rts flag mount

i am not interested in mounting a large flag on our rts but would like to mount a small one if possible..our bike has a hitch on it also....the price of the license plate mount scares me away....is there a simple way to do this???
