• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

On Monday afternoon my friend and fellow Spyder Ryder, Tom Fredell (aka Second Childhood) came to visit me and stayed till Thursday Morning. We had a good time, we went to Spyderpops for some farkles and then we rode around in Hot Springs, stopped at Fat Jacks for lunch, very good.

I really enjoyed his company and he is now back on the road heading somewhere else, wish i could have tagged along.

It is always nice to see friends.

I will be meeting with another friend when he comes to town next week.

Oh well i guess i better go clean up my ryde.

Visit your friends, life is short.

Life is too short! ride spyder, visit family, friends, do things on your bucket list, tour the country( USA, or other country's) Deanna:ohyea:

It is great when friends and even "new" friends drop in. The moments can be priceless.

I was fortunate enough to meet up with some great people a week ago today.

Cindy & I had the pleasure of spending some time with Tom, et al., last December's "Spyder Cruise Ship" outing. I also met with him at Bikeweek in Daytona. What a great and really fun guy. We certainly enjoyed his company and hope to see him again as well as you, Joe.

GRAVEL & spyders?! Oh NO:yikes::yikes::lecturef_smilie::gaah:

And this is the famous driveway where I wanted to get my :ani29: on the road early in March a couple years back. I got stuck on ice, dug a hole with the rear wheel, and snapped my drive belt in the process. That turned out to be about a $500 mistake.

Thread names: " Stupid Pills" and "I took a bottle of stupid pills today." Some funny reading and the SL members came up with some good stuff. I got a few laughs looking it over again.

:roflblack::roflblack:

Sorry Joe: UNHIJACK :bowdown:

That driveway looks almost short enough to have plywood laid down in it... :thumbup:
It might give you an advance start on your riding season!

Tom just passed through Indianapolis on his way home...

Tom and I just met for lunch as he passed through Indianapolis. We had a nice visit and we're trying to plan a trip sometime in the future. We also talked about you, Joe. :D

I sure am looking forward to retirement.

It's the "Talked about me" part that has me worried.

We need to plan a "GUYS" road trip.

I had a great time staying at you'r place. You are very gracious host I was ready to move in permanently. I also enjoyed gone to Harvey's place and spending all my money he certainly took good care of me. Having the Spyder laser alignment was definitely worth the money it handle so much nicer I can't believe how far it was off.

Had a great time visiting with Jerry and his wife. I spent last night in Fort Wayne Indiana left there at 4 AM Sunday 75° perfect riding weather I made it home before 8 AM. The only problem I had was losing my antenna somewhere in Illinois, that probably why my FM radio wasn't working properly.

Yes we definitely need to plan a guy trip.
