• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I fixed it!!!

Well, I hope I did. :)

Mike's Hindle rattled like he was draggin' tin cans along. Those heat shields are a pain!:gaah:

Well, daddy helped fix them last night. heehee.:opps: The front one was boogered good but I took it apart and then painted it with some high temp paint and it looks MUCH better.

It doesn't rattle either. :) Mike owes me BIG. ;) I'm kinda proud of myself. :2thumbs::clap:

Okay, brag over.. you may now return to your regular programming.

:congrats: Daddy, sounds like you were entitled to a good bragg. sometimes wish i had someone to take care of me like that

Thanks guys.

Drill out your rivets.
Use 1/2" bolts with lock nuts.

In Michael's case I think the bolts were a little long and I put a washer between the bracket and the heatshield. The pain is getting in there with a small enough tool to hold the lock nut in place while you tighten it.:gaah:

Well, after Mike jinxed me and my shield started rattling I was looking for ways to fix it. Today, my husband fixed it alright, I no longer have a heat shield on my Hindle. I guess we do what we have to do.

Sory about that Deb. :( Brian posted that in my other thread, and I was close to getting rid of my heat shields completely as well.
