• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi Everyone

I want to THANK YOU ALL !!!!! for your prayers we feel they worked, as some of you know Julie and I were
in Salt Lake City last week to be with our son who underwent a 5 hour operation on his heart, that was damaged
by some idiot who was operating the radiation machine while he was being treated for cancer, in the process
they cooked part of his heart and the good news he beat the cancer but the heart is another thing....
he is only 46 and sure as hell did not deserve to have the above, but now he is fine and in much better shape than
he was before the operation done with a robot.... So again THANK YOU all.....
No sales pitch here just a big thanks.
Dave & Julie

Good to Hear.....

I'm glad he will be alright...know it's a load off your minds..now to get back into it for you all...

I was only speaking of one tech... I was a hospital corpsman in the navy and if you check my other website
you will see I own Valley Medical Repair, I am in medical facilities every day and I know what goes on,
This tech. DID NOT protect his heart with the normally used lead shielding. enough said

All this said, I am thankful things went well. I retired from being a Radiation Therapy Tech for 35 years. We do our best with the tools, education and experience we have. I kind of take offense with the term Idiot!! Each of us in the medical profession do what we do because we care and I can assure you the heart damage was not a result of an "idiot" but sometimes the proximity of a tumor to a critical part of the body makes it very hard to deliver a cancer controlling dose without a possibility of some collateral damage. His heart may have been damaged and that is very unfortunate but if the result was for him to be cancer free - I say well done because he has time to spend with his family and friends. I apologize if the response was not what you expected ... but I assure you I am sincerely thankful you still have your sone with you!! Lots of prayers coming your way!

I am sorry if my response was the way it was. I want to assure you that I was speaking my views but the way I went about it should not have been done in such a public forum. I do feel very sorry that you and you family have been put thru this. I too have two sons and I thought a bit about how I would feel if it were one of them. Looking at it thru "your" eyes gives me a whole new view of your feelings. I am truly sorry and wish you guys the very best! I always stated how this world would be a much better place if everyone would be able to live their lives with MUCH more empathy. Good luck and I am going to delete my response.
