• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Being down a 2 wheeler temporarily I took the green machine 2013 RS-S to the gym and around today. I always seem to forget what a blast this bike is. Every time I give it a little romping I shake my head and wonder why it was slashed from the line. Now it seems every bike basically starts with a $2...
the only thing I would like to see them add is adjustable nanny settings (I get legal reasons for no "off" option) but most motorcycles that have started to include traction and other electronic aids hve made them adjustable to some degree.
But damn this is fun
can am... why did you you get rid of the "sport" in your line up.... now just cruise and tour and something in between?

guess I'll just have to enjoy my **** eating grin on my way home

I agree with you that they should have kept the Sport in the line up, but what makes you think that the RT's cant be ridden like a Sport bike? I can keep up with the crotch rockets in the twisties with good technique and a willingness to push the limits. Cocaine is bone stock, except for car tires all around (Federal Evo fronts review to come) and I am not the only one. But you cant beat the sporty looks of the GS/RS.

Die hard....

Love the originals...GS RS and RSS. Was sadden to hear they dropped them from the line up. Good things is they do last a long time and engine parts will always be available cause the engine is still in other vehicles. If they want to reach the younger generation they will need a sport model down the line....

Love my GS

Looking forward an RT or F3T is likely but I am still ( in my mid 50s) a sport and hot rod nut at heart , fighting the urge to add more horsepower to my Spyder risking reliability.... Maybe the answer is having both ?

Until we see what they've got coming: we just don't know! :dontknow:
They may just bring back an improved and refined version of it!

Chupaca, I am always pleased to hear how much you enjoy your Ryde. When they discontinued the sport models, you reminded me of a customer that I would visit in Kentucky.

This man loved the Chevrolet EL Camino, when they dropped them from the line he went to the dealer and bought three of them, so that he would have a supply for the future. I asked then why not buy four of them. He said he would not live that long. The last I saw him, his health was bad and he was driving the last one.

Live long and prosper!

I was refering more to the position and look of the attack style of the GS / RS
all these can be hustled with ferocity
beating sportbikes? I guess that depends on what but I would be hard pressed to "beat" one especially against a skilled rider

My local Spyder dealer has a 2011 RS that's identical to mine but with lower mileage. Already told them to try not the sell it as that's my backup machine when I run mine into the ground:-)

If you look at the listings around you can purchase 2 or 3 used GS / RS models for the price of one new RT or F3. And.... have very low mileage, bulletproof performance, and great styling. Shame on you BRP for dropping this line.
