• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Human powered trike

Very nice...

But I gotta say they are very scary when riden on the open road...very hard to see...👀

With many thousands of miles logged on one of those trikes, a.k.a. a tadpole trike, I respectfully disagree about them being scary. Just like motorcyclists and Spyderists, one has to ride defensively. If one rides in such a manner, with a highly visible flag and some type of flashing light(s), and maintaining a track in the right tire path of four wheel motor vehicles, the rider forces the overtaking cage driver to make an overt passing maneuver and not try to squeeze by in the same lane. Where I live, even the notorious Redneckus Americanus in his diesel powered Carolina Cadillac who's hollering and flipping me the bird is well in the other lane giving me a good eight feet or more of passing clearance. The novelty of a tadpole trike is much akin to that of a Spyder and as a result motorists have almost universally been more courteous to me on it than on all of the two wheel bycycles I've ridden.

I have to agree with JayBros, I have a good number of miles in the seat of a Catrike, (a tadpole trike made here is southern Florida) Very stable, very noticeable if equipped with proper lighting, and some are very high performance. I've ridden over 125 miles a day, with no sore spots (something I can't say about a bicycle). and, have been clocked at 39 mph on level ground.
