• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How wide is a RT?

Can someone with a RT give me the measurements (width) at the middle and back?
I can find the overall length and width, but I'm trying to see if I can get the bike and both of my cars in the garage.

I was envisioning being able to pull straight in and then park the cars on either side of the back tire.

Thanks for the info.

I don't have those measurements handy,
But there are some members with tight garages who have bought three furniture moving dollies and then use a small floor jack and set each of the Spyder tires on a dolly. Then moving it around and into a tight space is a breeze. Would only take a couple of minutes to set it on the dollies and might save you time getting in and out of the cars to reposition everything??

Orrrr....
Maybe would it be worth simply buyuing one of those prefabbed sheds, nailing it down to a concrete base, and giving your :f_spider: its own home? :dontknow:
I get nervous when things are that tight in the garage... stuff gets scratched, and it's always my fault... :gaah:

The RT measures approximately 40" wide at the saddlebags, and about 44" at the spoilers behind the front tires. BTW, these are extremely vulnerable areas, so you need to leave plenty of wiggle room.

Thanks

Thanks everyone for the help.

Might have to think about the "shed" idea, of course then I would need a new gate in the fence as well.

You might also consider getting a used covered 8x12' trailer and store it there - no concrete, non permanent, and you can tow your RT to nice riding spots, when the local weather is inclement...
