• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2012 rt-s tried wrapping header pipes last night, front cyl. {left pipe} went ok few cuts and scraps but got it done, rear cyl that cuts across front of gas tank looks impossible without removing the gas tank, and near as I can see this is a major job in itself.some previous post refer to doing just the left pipe but I think the other pipe contributes to seat heat a lot also HELP!!!!!!!!

Wow! You did the tough one already. I failed miserably on the front cylinder. I think the summer heat caused my blood to boil and I gave up. Okay enough of that.

Try using a paint stir stick to push the wrapping through the tough parts. It should get you through the pesky tight spots in two or three wraps and you're good to go. :)

Wrapping the rear one will also stop the gas from boiling. You have to remove the gas tank. No way around it. Click on my mods link below to see pictures. Service manual says take tank out left side. I did it on the right without too much effort. Just be careful arou d the top of the brake master cylinder.

Totally doable. Go clockwise and use a paint stick or putty knife to push the wrapping through. Taking the tank of is way too much work. I had the rear done in 30 minutes. It's the front that did me in.
