• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How to Turn Radio Off but still hear Garmin directions?

have an RT ltd (2014). I installed the Garmin 660 unit that comes with the Ltd. When I turn up volume of bike to hear GPS directions through the bike speakers, the radio volume still keeps playing. How do I turn off radio so I can only hear GPS directions?

The radio cannot be turned off but it can be muted. The GPS overrides the mute and turn by turn instructions will still come through.

I listen to mine on the AUX connection. I have music loaded on my 660 and play that for tunes. The 660 automatically stops the music, gives the direction, then continues with the music. Listening that way means that the music will not be in stereo, but it works for me.

FYI the GPS audio connection to the radio is a MONO connection not stereo!
So if you play music from the GPS it won't be in stereo.

I use a Nuvi 765 and BT everything to my headset. Music and directions are clear and no sound from the bike.
