• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was coming home from a long ride, stop a stoplight, the bike went into limp home mode. When arrived home I turn the bike off. restarted it, "Limp Home" was gone bike run like before. What is the procedure (buttons to push) to get the failure codes?

Depends which year and model, your profile picture shows a 2014 or later RT.

Press the MODE and SET button simultaneously and while holding press the turn signal cancel (push in) button.

For 2018/2019's, it is different.

Just to add, you need to do this before you turn the key off, it will only show Active codes, once you turn the key off and back on you won’t be able to retrieve a code unless it is still active.

What they said...

:agree: If you were in traffic and possibly ryding the brake it could have thrown a Limp screen as well as from possibly excess heat. Ryde on and see if it happens again. The only way to see the codes now is with the BUDS system at the dealer or if you know some one that has the system...
