There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. How many Spyders are over 100,000 miles?

One of the questions I am often asked is how long a Spyder will last. So I am curious, how many of you have put a Spyder over 100,000 miles? I know there are a few, but it would be nice to get a better feel for how many units are truly over 100,000 miles. Of course it is possible, but is it truly probable? Is it a realistic expectation for most Spyders to reach 100,000 miles (within a reasonable amount of time, like 10 years)? Cheers!

I am thinking there are under five that are documented on SL.

It might be difficult to determine because most trade them off well before the 100,000 mark is reached.

I have had five, but the most miles so far was 36,500 before I traded "up" to a 2014 1330 RTS.

My current rides both have only 21K and 23K. Not considering getting the F3 LTD that I was talking about a few months back. Will see if I exceed my 36.5K "record" this go around.

Let's see....

i know pincushion had 80,000 + when he sold it and don't know how many more it has by now...I'm a third of the way......:riding:

Again: he did it on multiple bikes. The original question was about how many Spyders have exceeded 100,000 miles...

...Not how many Spyder riders have accomplished it. :D

Knew he lost his GS early on and thought he bought another one and just rode it. :dontknow:

That was rather inconvenient: having your odometer re-set when it hit 100,000 kilometers...
I'm glad that they fixed that glitch; even though it's never been an issue for me! :D

Thanks for that video!

Ooops! Guess I should have read vs. look at the pictures...:opps:

Actually; that's an excellent question also! :2thumbs:
Doc, Lamont, Ann, Dwayne, Jim, Walt...

He knew it was going to happen. Thats why he took the video.

Don't think it will be an issue for me either.

Wifes 2011 RT had 76,000+ on it when traded last year..

Actually; that's an excellent question also! :2thumbs:

She's now got 24 + on her 15 SE6 so shes got the 100 total on two bikes in 5 years..

2008 gs sold 76k
bought 2009 44 months ago 3500 on the speedo

now rolled over at 62500 now showing 4924 hope to get over 100000 on this one

I should hit 100,000 by the 3 year mark on my 2014 RT, I'm at 76,500 and getting ready to put about 8,000 more on it in June. Other than Spyderjockey I don't know anyone who hit 100,000 on their 998 with original engine.

Not Dwayne. Over 130,000 total miles--but that covers :ani29::ani29::spyder2::spyder2::spyder2:'s. My record is 36,500 on the 2010.
