• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How low do you let tire pressure go before adding air?

I set my tire pressures at 20 front, 30 rear, and would let it get down to 16 front and 26 rear before I feel compelled to remove the TPMS caps and add air. At 16/26 the RT seemed to be riding just fine but I don't want to push it too far and risk tire failure. What you others recommend?

Guess it depends on which tires you're using????? Q5 Vredstines on the front at 18 or 19 and General Ultimax at 19 to 20 psi

To more directly answer your question, I have K20 tires(Kenda's new replacement tire that seems to do better than OEM tires) and run the front at 18lbs and the back at 28lbs. Since the front tires seem to be really sensitive to tire pressure I do not let them vary more than 2lbs either way. Same for the back tire. If the front tires are inflated to 20 lbs or more I do not think the bike handles nearly as well. The back isn't that sensitive but I guess I'm just anal about tire pressures.

How far do you allow your car's tires to go down? Same analogy. The correct answer is you don't allow them to go down. They should be run at the set pressures at all the time. That being said, there are variables. However, there are way too many tire pressure posts to go into that. Do a search for further info.

I like 19-20 on stock front. If one gets down to 18 they both go back to 20. They hardly lose any air except for temp changes.

If you still have any type of Kenda's ..... keep at what it says in the owners manual ..... car tirers 15 to 17 psi front 18-19 rear ..... I have drag raced a couple of Spyders using 12 psi REAR, hooked up great .... I accidently let a REAR auto tire down to 8 psi .... and it didn\t lose the BEAD seal .... Mike
