• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Do you........................

drain the charge ????
bring them inside and keep them at room temperature ?????
charge every month ????
put them in the refrigerator like regular batteries ?????
keep them hooked to the helmet and charge them in the spring ???????

ScalaRiders here...
But I bring the battery packs up into the office, and give them a drink of electricity; about once a Month! :2thumbs:

What do "SlingSnotters" do?

I left ours hooked to the helmet and re-charged at about 3 months into hibernation. Then re-charged before using in the spring.

They worked perfect on start up.

Last year I took the SMH10 units off of our helmets & took the SM10 dongle out of the frunk as well. Kept them in the house all winter. The day before I took the :ani29: out of winter storage mid April last spring, I charged all 3 units, rolled some miles up, and all worked just fine. Very dependable, IMHO.
