• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

you would have to IM Anthony, admin to get it changed

Try this:
Go to Home page.
On top line to the right of your SL name click Settings.
In the left column select Edit Signature.
Edit your signature.
Click Preview Signature.
If it's the way you want it, click Save Signature.

Tried both and neither worked. As you can see, I have been searching for answers.

Re your Username change, have you sent AnthonyG a PM? :dontknow: You can do that directly via 'Send new Message' thru Notifications & your Inbox; or you can click on the 'Contact Us' link down the bottom of every page - but in either case you may hafta send your msg then have a little patience, this isn't the only thing he does, so sometimes it might take a day or two... ;)

As for the sig line, what have you tried so far?? The description above is pretty much it in a nutshell, unless you've set something else to tell it NOT to show or maybe you don't save it correctly - altho you may then need to log out & re-enter to see if it's been updated properly? :dontknow:

Just sent the message. I sent it to https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/member.php?41034-SpyderBOT before because he or it let me join the forum. Maybe he or it is a robot. And AnthonyG has done it before I completed this message.

Read https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/member.php?25181-Rattlebars post first and got signature corrected.

Thanks,

USCGR '79 - '91 Retired w/20 had to go in as Port Security to keep rank and become a small boat coxswain then lateraled to Boatswain Mate. Loved operating those small boats about 10 weekends and 2 weeks a year. The 2 weeks seemed like a paid vacation after the Army and being away from my civilian desk job. Don't think I would have done the last 12 in Army Reserve or NG.
