• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How difficult is Removing the BRP Back rest on 2013 ST-S?

Recently bought this 2013 STS. How difficult is it to remove the back rest? The bike will be ridden solo and I have the stock cover to go back on the tail. No need for the back rest.

From that pic, I think you will need a re-placement tail cover... It should be easy to remove. Mike

Well, there's a couple of options: you say stock cover so that would involve removing the sports rack - that's just 4 bolts & a release cable for the main body. The stock tail cone can then cover the aluminum bracket, unless you want to go ahead remove that too, an additional bolt & nut that're a lil harder to reach going through the frame under the seat.
Here’s an installation that gives the idea:

I do suggest hanging onto the Sports Rack, as they are now discontinued & harder come by!
