• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How Deep is it being shoveled on me.....

or maybe not at all.
Okay here is the story. After almost 4 weeks I still have no Spyder. It went in to have the rear shock replaced and they still have not got it fixed.

1. First delay waiting for BRP approval, almost 1 week.

2. Shock did not get ordered, missing paperwork, another week

3. shock ordered , 1 week to arrive

4. Shock needs to be calibrated with electronics, Dealer had to sub out to another "shock" place to have this done.

Now mind you for the first couple of weeks, no worry on my part. I was out of town and no time to ride anyway. So 1-3..meh but is # 4 above even remotely close to the truth?:dontknow::dontknow:

Sounds a bit full of it. Totally unacceptable. Hope it's not my dealer, cause they are better than that. Any part they have had to order for warranty, I was never with down time. Always rode until the part was in and got it fixed.

I have posted too many times to remember. When a dealer says they have ordered a part DEMAND a copy of the order or back order. It is your full right to have it. Why is that so hard for people to get a grip with?

Sad but it isn't just Spyder dealers, In today's society you have to check and double check everything someone tells you they are doing or have done because all to often it hasn't been done and won't be until you follow up lately in frustration..... this skeptical approach isn't fun but it does save time & pain in the long run

Getting deep?

I'm afraid #4 sounds like BS.
I'm not a "wrench", but I was not aware of any electronics needed for rear shock replacement.
It's my thoughts that after the shock is replaced, you should be able to use the schrader valve under the seat to refill the shock to the desired firmness.
Just my opinion.:dontknow:

Rear Shock

Sorry to hear of your problems, Wow is all I can say. My 2010 had the rear shock replaced within the first month of ownership but it was ordered and done in a couple of days. This year the dampening went again and it seems that a revised rear shock came out after my first one was replaced last year so now I have the better one. It was ordered and within a couple of days they had it on. I never left my Spyder there either as I still drove it but with 75 psi in the air suspension. Sounds like dealer problems not BRP.
