• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How can I remove park brake cable on 2012 RTS? Anyone had a brake cable melt?

Get 2 12mm open end wrenches. On the rear caliper, Loosen the jam nut until it is free. Remove cable from pulley. On the motor end, remove right mirror, wind deflector, upper body panel, and anything else in the way. With the end off the caliper, there is room to remove from the cable from the parking brake motor. A flat tip screwdriver and a torx 30 screwdriver is all you need. Call me if you get stuck. Joe

Done all that, removed all the blue panels, don't know how to remove the black panel by the brake pedal?

Has anyone have this happen to them? My brake cable melted on my 2012 RTS. The cable was right over my exhaust pipe, I found it after I removed all the panels on the right side.... That's why my parking brake did not work.
