Nosing around the net I see that ELIO has projeted production for next month October 2019 and they plan to double their production.... Makes you wonder as double nothing you still have nothing....:roflblack: some rumor it will go electric to get that mileage estimate....I can see 84 miles on a charge....

Sure enough...they are still showing up on the internet...and as usual...the promises to build are still there.

I think their sticking point is to find someone with the $376 million they need to just start production.

I am still sticking with my early on predictions. Scam...and they will never build a workable brand. :bbq: :bbq:

Several years ago, when the price of gas was approaching $5/gallon, this made sense. But gas has gone down to about $2.15 (in my region), so the urgency is no longer there.

During WW2, the P-51 Mustang went from contract to first prototype article in 100 days. Granted Elio doesn't have wartime's urgency, but this drawn-out scenario is ridiculous. Somebody's not serious.
