• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I received this in the mail today. Not boasting, but I am rather proud of this accomplishment. AND, I would encourage each of us to donate blood at your nearest donor center. You never know, but your blood may be just the one pint that saved someone's life.

No response necessary, except that you hustle over to the nearest or farthest center and give a pint of your blood.

For those that haven't converted this to pints, 15 gallons = 120 pints.

That's a lot of blood and needle sticks. Thanks, nice job.

Won't take mine either, might have been exposed to mad cow! I was in Germany before 1980 with the US Army. And I can get as mad as a cow!!:joke:

Congrats!!

Kudo's to you  kep-up, keep it up....
The current US list of unable to donate keeps growing. I too served in the USAF, stationed in the (then) FRG, only on USAF Bases, but because of some contract purchasing beef from England, ALL who served or spent over 30 days in country are denied donating. I used to give every blood drive I was eligible to, now can't... Damned REMF's saving money, coulda shipped us TX, OK, KS or ANY US beef and we'd all still be eligible....

You have every right to be proud and even do some boasting! I was happy to get a bumper sticker for giving 4 gallons............looks like I have a loooonnnnng way to go!

On behalf of a family member whose life was saved by a blood donor, THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU.
