• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

hook up heating gear

Direct to the battery or the customer accessory circuit is under the rear seat. Not sure what that circuit is rated for, preferred would be battery.

Hook up

There are two customer accessory hookups on the F3T; I imagine there are with the F3S. Not positive, but remove back seat, see if there is a rubber boot on the end of a wire. Under the left panel where the safety card is, is another. Hook to either. Both are switched power. Only work if bike is on, and running. Joe

Most all recommend direct to the battery. I would only hook it direct to battery. Only time I did not I had a jacket fire on the freeway. They need full power going through the fuse to work properly. I have owned three and have used them on half a dozen bikes.
