How to connect the power plate to Battery + terminal in 2017 Spyder RT limited SE6

Hi,
I am trying to install the power plate from Lamonstergarage.com(LAMONSTER RT SPYDER CUFF WITH POWER PLATE AND LARGE X-GRIP COMBO)

. The video instructions are very clear until the power plate leads are ready to connected to the battery terminals. The + terminal seems to be covered with some red plastic cover, which is very difficult to remove. Has any one tried connecting this before? Can any one help?
The - terminal is easily accessible.
Please let me know. I highly appreciate the help.

RED COVER

Yep it's pretty stiff ..... you could use a hair dryer on it ..... be careful not to overdo the heat though .........annnnnnnnnnnd Merry Christmas ...... Mike :thumbup:
