Would anyone know if a hitch from a spyder ST ( part #219400431) will fit an RT, Just the hitch part not electrical stuff? I would use it only to carry 3x5 flag. Thanks.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The RT & ST hitches did have different part numbers; it was due to different electrical hookups, and a mounting spot for a license plate (on the ST)

I have a 2012 RTL, the part number would be 219400432 and the ST is 219400431 I was hoping the only difference was the electrical hookups. I just want to use it as a flag holder only so it would not matter what part number I get then.

I seem to recall some dimensional differences being discussed back about five years ago. I don't recall the substance of the conversations; but you might want to dig around a bit, and check on mixing a post-2013 hitch, and a pre-2013 bike. :dontknow:
