• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hitch for RT 219400432

So on Saturday at my local dealer's open house, I ordered the hitch kit for my RT. I got a call today from the dealer informing me that the hitch kit was no longer available and there was no superseded number for the hitch kit.

Anyone run into this lately or know if there is a new hitch for the RT available?

Dealer said when he ordered it Can-Am said it was available. Then sent him a message later that the hitch was no longer available. An Ebay listing I saw last month had one for sale and said that the hitch was being discontinued. I did find another dealer with one in stock and will be purchasing the hitch this week. I am not sure what the deal is with this at this point.

Thanks

Somebody's got to know what's up...........

Glad I bought mine months ago. I got it from the "for sale" portion on this site and it was a good price in good condition from a very nice spyder owner. Caution, if you buy after market they are made more cheaply and for a reason. Poor construction and material quality prevail in aftermarket products. I can't find it right now however someone posted a picture on this site of an aftermarket hitch that had the welds fail while traveling down the highway. If you can, find a factory BRP hitch and look closely at it to compare it to an aftermarket hitch.

This isn't the one I was thinking of, but it's one that failed.

Is brp getting out of trailer market

A couple weeks ago some else posted that the dealers were no longer able to get freedom trailers? Is brp getting out of the trailer business??

If so, then I’ll be taking extra special care of my current brp622 trailer and hitch.
