• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Highway Pegs

:clap:My wife and I bought a new 2012 RT, A/C SE5, Quantum Blue. What a neat ride. My question is, is there a good set of highway pegs and mounts made for the spyder that does not require any drilling or cutting panels to mount them. I thought about floor boards. But I believe I would use the pegs more.

Thank you in advance for you input.

I have the NBV Pegs from Lamont and they are great, no cutting or modifying the frame or panels.

I've installed two sets of Lamont's pegs, one on mine and one for a friend, and they were easy to do. Best money I've spent on the RT.

Install Cruiser pegs.

1. Stretch out.
2. Oops, my boot's melting, there’s heat coming from that hole…
3. Solution, block air coming out of boot-melting hole.
4. Oops, Didn’t work; take off bottom splash-panel for heat venting.
Why was that there anyway?
5. Still hot!
6. Redirect hot air somewhere else.
7. Temperature Gauge up 1/8th inch.
8. My seat's burning my knees and legs
9. THIS JUST IN!!! Flash from the obtuse.
10. Yeah, Ok, I Know, I know, I know…
11. These new cruiser pegs place my boot a long way from the brake pedal.
12. I know, I’ll install a hand brake.

You might at east want to consider Seal Floorboards. They allow great leg movement AND you can extend you feet way forward just like hwy peg. Vey easy installation, no cutting or drilling, just three bolts per side. The best of both world:yes:

I have the Seal Pups and they are great, real comfortable, and actually improves handling because of the large platform upon which to shift your weight or push on the outside board while turning
