• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

High pitched sound--------

There's an extremely high pitched sound coming from my RT Limited when I turn it off. It seems to go on forever and I don't ever remember hearing it before. Does anyone know what this could be?

Shutting down..!!

varies with heat etc but when you shut off your roadster it goes through a shutting down process much like your computer. Sounds vary from what we see here and can last from a few seconds to quite a while. I guess the more you have the longer it may take. Your machine checks things if there are codes it stores them resets things etc. I have an RS which shuts down fast...

Yes, it is the throttle bodies squealing as they are being held closed for all of 40 minutes.
It's not one of BRP's finest fixes.

Thanks Roger. It was bugging the heck out of me & I couldn't figure for the life of me what it was. The noise was amplified in the garage so it was very noticeable.

It really didn't happen with a heat issue today Chupaca as I just turned the key on to learn how to plug & play my IPhone on the auxiliary. I never started the engine.

It is very funny that I am seeing you post today. My wife and I are, at this moment, discussing moving down to Kodak. We have family there and we love the area.nojoke
