• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just installed the ESI mirror extensions. I haven't put the plastic pieces back on yet. I know you said you used RTV and MM mentions Goop Glue; but, I was wondering what do you do if you ever have to get back in there to remove the mirrors. Isn't the RTV and Goop Glue permanent bonding?

No ether one will come off if you want to get in there again. As they say "been there done that." :roflblack:

I, like many owners used this trick on the stock set up because those black covers have a habit of not staying in there even on stock bikes. After I lost my first one on my stock set up I glued both of them in place so as not to loose them again.

When I did the mirror extensions, I just pulled them off and rolled the old glue off with my thumb to clean the surface for re-use.
