• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have not purchased or tested this, it's just an interesting find.

Size comparison to the Rugged Geek 1200 & cases:

Sorry, I do not have the specs comparison. Hopefully this is helpful

I had two Rugged Geek jump packs and they both were junk. In the first one the battery expanded and split the case when shortly out of warranty. The company gave me a discount on a replacement that just stopped working after a year. I complained to the company but never heard anything from them. Replaced the crappy ones with a Noco Boost Plus GB 40.

I agree.. I had one and it lasted about 1.5 years... The first time I used it it worked like a charm on a group ride.. A MC needed a jump... The 2nd time I needed to give a Ryker a jump it failed... Get a Noco instead...

I have (2) GooLoo-4000 jump packs that have jumped 2, 3, and 4 wheeled vehicles for 3 years now, in hot, cold, and wet weather. Jumped many 2-cylinder engines up to V8's. They still work flawlessly; they're light weight, and they're compact. I usually get 2-3 jump starts from a single charge. Great customer reviews too.

I recommend them!

I checked out the link B provided. Looked like good little unit with solid customer reviews. I liked that it came with a hard case and not a bag.
