• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here's a Fantastic 2014 RTL in SE Pennyslvania, For a Good Price

Last September, I bought my dealer's personal demo for a very good price. It was an RT Limited that the owner had ridden all summer. He gave me "first dibs" on his 2014 RT, that is even nicer than last year's with some great add-ons he installed, but I've got too much money invested in my 2013 to consider the trade at this time. So it's for sale now. I would get nothing out of this sale, but the dealer did say that if anyone I referred bought it, he'd make them a great deal. So take that statement for what it may be worth (no guarantees from me), and take a shot at a great deal, if you're interested.

His current demo is a 2014 RT Limited (which includes the GPS) in Cognac with black seat. Five upgrades to this bike include the BRP Comfort Seat (2" more legroom, and the new comfort seat for 2014 really is more comfortable); the BRP backrest to match; Tri Axis Adjustable Handlebars; Vented Windshield; and Adjustable Side Wind Deflectors.

Mileage: about 2200 - all put on by the dealer owner, Doug Michael. As a demo, the bike is untitled, so would be eligible for any manufacturer promotions, if BRP is offering any on the 2014's yet.

Doug owns Hollinger's Sports 'n Turf
4126 Oregon Pike
Ephrata PA. (near Lancaster)

If interested in this RTL, contact the dealer directly. This dealer has two stores - the one above (where this demo is), and another in Parkerford, PA called "Leisure Sports 'n Turf", which is where I purchased my Spyder and get all my work done. They are both friendly and professional to do business with, and they have knowledgeable BRP certified mechanics. If you do make an offer on the bike, and/or you end up purchasing it, please let me know by PM, just to satisfy my curiosity. Thanks.

I stopped by and took some pictures....

It may well have made ME very happy, if I had not sunk so much money into my 2013 with farkles and heat fixes. nojoke But I cannot complain. I still love my 2013, which runs much cooler now than when I bought it ...AND it's lava bronze (brown), with an antler brown (tan) seat, which brings me compliments every time I show it off. :2thumbs:

But I must admit, the cognac color DOES grow on you.

But just think...

The 1330/ 6 speed gets way better fuel mileage...
You'd have a much more powerful charging system...
There are NO heat issues at all; this frees up money for the most important item to consider...

A Brand new bike, that's just waiting to get farkeled-up by you!! :D :2thumbs:

I know, I know.... Maybe I can win the lottery between now and the time when some other lucky Spyder fan scoffs up this demo?
