Dave, I already have the SM10, but am curious. I know that Sena are discontinuing this item, but are they planning on replacing it with a “new and improved” model, which of course would have a new and increased price as well?

No this the end, the reason is now all the new radios on motorcycles and cars are Blue Tooth from the factory.
Time marches on, they are no longer necessary on the newer Spyders but there are a bunch of them out there
that have not been converted using the SM10.
