• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HERE IS A RESPONSE FROM BRP

To an Email I sent today just out of curiosity asking when they will reveal what the "fix" is for the 2013 RT:

Good day Mr. Patrick,

Thank you for taking the time to contact BRP.

In response to your request,
We will not have this information until May 2015.

To find a dealership in your area, please visit our website at: www.brp.com.

You can click on the ''find a dealer'' tab on the top right corner of the screen. You must then select your country at the bottom of the page. Please enter you city or zip code in order to see your closest dealers. You can then click on the logo of the different dealership to get their contact information.

If you have any other questions or comments, please feel free to contact us by replying to this email or you can call us at 1.888.272.9222.

Thank you for contacting BRP,
Jay LeBlanc
Customer Service Representative

Are they kidding? BRP will not have the information as to what the "fix" is until May 2015? What have they been doing for the last several months? A post by magdave several days ago said that the NHTSA (I assume that he spoke to Bob Young) knows what the "fix" is, but cannot disclose the information until BRP does so formally. So, if the NHTSA knows what it is, are they keeping it secret from BRP? Or is BRP just yanking my chain/ Yeah, I know I'm
:bdh:but I'm tired of all of the runaround I've gotten from BRP for almost 2 years now. Oh, by the way, my RT is sitting in my garage right now constantly leaking coolant after a 50 mile ride one week ago. OK, I'm done with my rant for the day.

Everyone knows what they plan on doing except the people who forked out the $$$$ :dontknow: On the upside you got a reply from them that is better than I have gotten.

Not only was I shocked that I got a reply, I almost passed out that I got the reply on the Same Day that I sent the Email.:shocked:

OldGuy, I know you are frustrated but did you really think that they would give you an answer? Originally they said it would be May and they seem to be sticking to that story. And BRP is the one who comes up with the fix not NHTSA.

But NHTSA has to approve it and apparently they have

And as I recall; didn't we can an assurance from a NHTSA guy, that it was effective?
(Sorry... I forgot his name, and who posted it. :opps:)
