• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help with seat removal

The electrical plug under the seat- I tried to disconnect last night; but, didn't want to force it. It looks like you press on a tab and pull. Is this the way it's done? I just didn't want to force it and break something.

Spydergirl,

If you read this, I just received the roadkrome piece that goes under the seat. The instructions say to remove the seat. I went back to your instructions and you say to just lift the seat. I don't want to remove anything I don't have to; so, I'm wondering if I really have to remove the seat. I'm just trying to get everything in order before I start.

There are 2 bolts that hold the rear seat sensor,, It would be best to just remove the 2 bolts and keep the electric plug connected, but yes you are correct you should be pushing on a TAB that will release from the Female end and then you can remove the seat with the sensor still in-tact.. It makes no differance how you do it but them are the two methods that I know of...
