• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help w/Sena & Shoei RF1200

I got a Shoei RF1200 and want to install the Sena headset. But I can't pull the side collar out - or I'm afraid to force it. Will someone who knows how to do it be at BRP-OE that would help?

Read your manual that came with your helmet. That should help. Taking it apart for the first time is a bit scary. I had to do it to my RF-1100 to rinse out the sweat as it was getting pretty crusty!
I've got the same RF-1200 helmet but haven't installed any electronics in it. (Or the RF-1100)
I can hear myself talk to myself just fine. :roflblack:

Thanks for the response Cavman. I want to be able to listen to the radio on long trips, like to Durango next week. I've been working on it and have learned a lot about the innards of the RF1200. Now I'm having trouble getting the speakers to adhere to the inside of the helmet. There are carve-outs for them and a foam-rubber "plug" for when you don't have speakers. I tried it one way and it rally hurt when I had the helmet on. I'll try again later with the sticky velcro pads. Or I'll just wait until I've worn the helmet about a year and the insides have compressed a bit.
